Petralia Soprana is one of the highest villages in Sicily as it extends to 1150 meters above sea level. The town is included in the circuit of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy and in 2018 it was proclaimed “Borgo dei Borghi”. Thanks to the investments made by counts and barons during the medieval period, Petralia Soprana was fortified and took on the appearance that it still retains almost unchanged today. Rich in art, history and culture, several churches were built in the Middle Ages which we will show you on a guided tour of the historic center which will make you increasingly passionate about this wonderful land.
